Samsung Odyssey G7 & Dell Optiplex 3020 SFF

Solved!

I had to switch to legacy BIOS and disable adaptive sync.

Hi everyone, bit of a strange issue today.

I have a Dell Optiplex 3020 SFF (i5-4590 using integrated graphics) and I would like to use it with my Samsung Odyssey G7 monitor. The only outputs on the PC are display port and VGA, and I used to use display port with a different monitor (1080p 75Hz) with no issues. Now when I plug the PC into the G7, nothing displays.

I tried the following:

VGA to other monitor, display port to G7: No signal on either

VGA to other monitor only: Signal

Display port to other monitor only: Signal

VGA to other monitor at boot, and then plugging in display port to G7 AFTER booting up Windows: Signal on both

      - I could also disconnect VGA and use only display port on G7, however after shutting down and trying to boot up, black screen again.

I also tried updating the BIOS to the latest version and changing "Primary Display" from Auto to Intel Integrated Graphics, no change.

Additionally, the display port cable I am using worked with the G7 using a different PC (that one had a GTX 1060). I believe it is 1.2.

Any help would be appreciated!
