BeamNG gets my pick.

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

been playing Kingdom Hearts 1, 2, 3 recently and loving that Square finally brought them to PC. Moving onto Biomutant and Terra Alia (awesome game for learning languages!) it's basically Harry Potter meets Rosetta Stone as a game.

The best gaming PC is the PC you like to game on, how you like to game on it

Hmm...

Portal 2 is the easy answer.

Others include:

- Halo (1, 2, 3, ODST, Reach, and -surprisingly- 4)

- Half-Life (all of 'em, especially Alyx)

- Dead Space (all of them, yes even 3)

- A Hat in Time

- Bioshock (also all of them)

- Borderlands (just got 3, we'll see if this is another 'all of them')

- Penumbra (Overture and Black Plague)

- Warframe (help)

- Undertale

- Timeshift (just gave one random person the most unexpected burst of nostalgia)

"Do as I say, not as I do."

-Because you actually care if it makes sense.

  • Deus Ex
  • The Witcher 3
  • X-COM
  • Pokemon Yellow
  • Half-Life 2
  • God of War (2018)

Those are the ones that come to mind right away.

Uh that's really hard... I think one that will always be way up top of my mind is Tie Fighter that game just rocked. No idea how much I played it but it does have a very special place in my gamer-heart. I also played Jane's Advanced Tactical Fighter a lot in my teens. For me that one was the perfect mix of simulation and fun, you needed to have some skill to master it, but you didn't need to actually have a pilots license to have fun with it. On the more recent games I think Witcher 3 also needs a mention for me. So does Skyrim although I'd say I did enjoy Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul even more. So many to choose from (original Doom, Mass Effect, Half-Life, the portal series...)

But to Tom, it's all foolery.

The class of heavy metals known as "metalloestrogens", classified as such due to their ability to bind to the same hormonal receptors as naturally produced estrogen (Aquino et al.), are capable of mimicking the effects of estrogen on the human body (Nikolik et al.). Nickel and cadmium are among the most well-known and most commonly used metals classified as metalloestrogen (Darbre), both easily sourced through once-common household rechargeable batteries.

Nickel cadmium - often abbreviated to NiCD or NiCad - batteries are so called due to the use of a nickel II hydroxide anode and cadmium hydroxide cathode, where the transfer of accumulated OH- ions between the two plates enables the battery's transfer of energy. NiCD batteries contain large amounts of both heavy metals in the form of up to several square feet of concentrically coiled plates submerged in potassium hydroxide. Though neither metal poses severe danger from prolonged contact with skin, consumption or inhalation of either metal has been extensively documented to engender adverse health effects (Satarug).

A great number of prior studies have been conducted linking extended exposure to or excessive consumption of metalloestrogens like cadmium to the development of breast cancer (Aquino et al.) - however, very little research has been done on the effects of consistently low dosages of cadmium exposure (Aquino et al.). Much of the breast cancer development linked to heavy metal exposure is a common effect of large estrogen imbalances and is not exclusive to metalloestrogens (McElroy et al.). Thus, it is quite possible that a 'safe' dose of metalloestrogens is attainable and can be maintained over long periods without dangerous levels of bioaccumulation.

Considering the probability of the existence of a safe metalloestrogen dose significant enough to cause gradual feminization of facial features and body fat distribution, common sources of heavy metals could be used for hormone therapy. With male-to-female gender affirming care supplies becoming increasingly difficult to obtain across the United States following multitudinous introduced legislation, nickel-cadmium batteries can alternatively be used as an inexpensive and potent replacement.
