NVIDIA has increased the Canadian MSRP for all of their GPUs.

As the Title says, Nvidia has increased the MSRP on their own website, and BestBuy.ca, just because we are Canadian.

I cant find the 3060ti, 3070, or 3090 MSRPs anymore but the 3080 used to be 899 but is now 1029

WHAT IS THIS. THIS IS NOT FAIR.

Just as the 80/90FEs are finally becoming officially available in Canada from BestBuy, there's a price hike.

It's not that our dollar has dramatically dropped, it's just greed!

But if their costs were higher that would mean that all their MSRPs would've increased, but USD is still the same price

Not true. It could be logistical costs or something directly associated with shipping to Canada. There are many, many reasons they'd have to raise prices. They're not raising their prices "just because you're Canadian." That's a ridiculous statement.

If their PR department were to come out at least a couple days before this happened and explained this properly, then I wouldn't be as upset. But they didn't.

It seems like they just quietly increased it and hoped that no one would notice.

I first saw it on BestBuy.ca but only on the 80/90 FEs that are just coming out up here, which also sucks that it's taken so long

i uh... think almost everyone in the market for a GPU have known that the prices of GPU have only been going up since 30 series launched

They don't have to. They're under no obligation to justify anything to you.

I know, but it just seems like they should've covered themselves and announced this ahead of time instead of just doing it out of nowhere

With the AIB Cards for sure, and that makes sense. But those prices went up everywhere.

It's not like EVGA upped there XC3 Black by $200 in Canada just for the sake of it.

They should just raise all their prices across the board anyways as long as that's what the market will sustain. No one likes these sky high gpu prices but I'd rather see Nvidia pocket the money than some douchebag scalper who adds no value.

This is what I mean. They should've just increased the prices everywhere instead of select regions.
