How often should i re-apply thermal paste, and clean/oil my fans?

Years. I've never replaced thermal paste or oiled my fans. Just use compressed air to blow the dust off of them.

- Re-apply thermal paste when you start to notice a significant difference in temperatures (after years of use).

 

- Clean your fans when they start to accumulate dusk, oiling them isn't always necessary.

Generally cleaning off dust is all you should need to do.  Good thermal paste should last 10 years or so, only replace it if you notice your temperatures are significantly higher than they used to be.
