I use the Airdots daily and have zero problems. The volume gets really high without distorting. I don't want to test any further 😅  The connection reliability is fine as well.

I haven't tested other True Wireless earphones, but I can tell you that the Airdots didn't disappoint considering the price.

Hey so which one you think is better Xiaomi Airdots with 7.2mm drivers and DSP, or this with 8mm drivers and no mention of DSP? I mean they mention something like "Edifier signature sound" but that sounds like marketing bullshit to me,what do you think? Will it sound much better than the Xiaomi which I already have and sound great? Edifier - TWS1 True Wireless Earbuds (edifier-online.com)

The airdots aren't great and most of the ones for sale are counterfeits, instead get the KZ S2, believe me, you'll be impressed. KZ are one of the hidden gems of low end inears and the S2 really can't be beat for the price.

kz zs2 arent't truly wireless. I want truly wireless with a charging case. Also how do I know if my airdots are genuine or not?And do you have any thoughts on the Edifier ones?

My bad, I meant S2, not ZS2

well if I am buying kz it will be sks probably because they have better drivers 10mm instead of 7 and they look better. However I was going to and I would have already bought them because I was impressed by the specs and the low price but I read some stuff for them that generally KZ have bad tuning(the frequencies) and the sks in particular distort when the volume is higher than 80% and I listen at high volumes so that's a problem for me and after reading this I don't really trust them, unless you can concince me that's not true and those are just rumors I am going to stay away from them for now. If someone else can tell me if the edifiers are worth it or if not what wireless earbuds should I purchase for a lower than 80 dollars price? Because I looked a lot today and I couldn't find anything that had better specs on paper than the airdots for the price range and I don't want to purchase something more expensive that's worse. Most of them had 6, 6.5 mm drivers and the airdots have 7.2 and they have a DSP. Unless the driver size don't matter that much but you will tell me that I don't know so when I see lower size drivers I stay away

It's not really BS. Many places will have a "house sound"  that they strive for. Think of it like an EQ setting but it's (if not done with DSP) achieved through physical properties the driver, housing and any dampening they may put in there..

I bought the Xiaomi Airdots directly from the Xiaomi store in Paris and greatly overpaid for them (30€).

I gotta say that at first the sound of the Airdots didn't impress me much (coming from the heavenly sounding KEF M100). But after some adjustment I gotta say that they're absolutely satisfactory. I have been going on 5 hour walks with the Airdots. They have sufficient bass and the highs are not shrill (shrill highs are my biggest deal-breaker in earphones). The Airdots are also very comfortable.

In fact, the Airdots are so satisfactory that it boggles my mind why people would spend 200€ on Samsung, Bose or Jabra earphones for a minor improvement. I'd rather spend more money on a decent set of speakers or headphones at home (which I did).

That's good that you're enjoying your purchase, I agree, compared to those more expensive options they are great value, but compared to other options like the KZ TWS earbuds they fall short. That's not to say you can't enjoy them, it's also not to say they're bad but so far as value for money goes there are better options.

The size of driver aren't what's most important, consider also that many KZ options have multiple drivers.

There's always better value around the corner. Eventually you just have to pull the trigger and buy something.

I'll just say that audio gear reviews are hyperbolical and overstate differences between models. To me the Airdots are satisfactory and that's a bloody compliment considering the rock bottom price. I own several KZ IEMs it wouldn't shock me that the KZ TWS sound better than the Airdots.

well maybe I am not gonna buy others for now then,I mean I like them it's just I thought I would buy something en paar with big headphones for not much bigger price but I might stay with the Airdots for now. Otherwise I asked about the KZ SKS if you have tried them by any chance because I was going to buy them since I was impressed by the specs(they are professional IEMs if what they say is to be believed) but then I heard they distort at loud volumes so I decide not to buy them and I wanted to see if that is true or it's a false rumour
