Recommended games Steam (Proton)

Which games do you recommend to buy to play it on Steam (Proton) in Linux?

I have CS:GO on Steam but i don't play it anymore because hackers. I have GTA V only for Single Player with mods. Too much hackers/cheaters in GTA V Online the same as CS:GO or even worse.

I finished DOOM Eternal in Windows 10 and i'm done with this game.

I do not know many games in order to tell and which will work well With proton.

However I played a game a month ago called "Before your Eyes", Has no AC, no DRM Management or whatever. I can't guarantee about webcam functionality in the translation layer however if Proton can utilize webcams then yeah nice.

This game does need a webcam for eye tracking and it's a indie story based game, kinda interactive if you use your eyes how you should use it.

Unfortunately right now I cannot tell any other game that could work well with Proton as I mainly play Apex Legends but another indie I used to play a lot is brawlhalla (tried it before), It is only for windows but it works perfect with Wine or Proton. Holodrive and Move or Die are more or less interesting and should work fine with the layer.

Make sure to quote me if you want me to respond
Thanks :)

If you like goal-less driving sim games, then definitely play BeamNG. I've put so many hours into that game making custom vehicle configs, exploring maps, racing on pavement and on dirt, rally style. Aside from Minecraft, BeamNG is my favorite game.

I love Civilization V and Civilization Beyond Earth, both single player and multiplayer. Both are available on Linux natively. From indie games, I love Don't Starve and Oxygen Not Included, both from Klei Entertainment. Also both native. But they are pretty primitive in terms of graphics, they are more about he content. Check these games out, they are pretty cool.
