Make and OS in under 500 Lines

the OS must have a bootloader, kernel, keyboard support, and a DOS like user-space capable of file creation, editing, running programs, and a folder structure

 

the less lines the better and no you can't use the Linux source code it is too big

 

to submit put the GitHub link to the OS and make sure the GitHub has an ISO that can run in virtual box or on real hardware you must include all source code required to compile the OS along with instructions for compiling in the readme

 

the only lines that count are the source code lines obviously

Besides the absurdity of the "challenge"... why? Why don't you do it first to prove it's possible?

currently this is what i have https://github.com/TheFBIMaster/GLaDOS it is over and does not have all the features but with some work i can shrink it and add features or maybe i can use a different language 

 

also one more thing technically you could make the OS like normal than remove all lines by going through and at the start of all lines delete that in c and c++ if you use ; you don't need new lines

@Radium_Angel's point is that there already is a GLaDOS project, and is requesting you prove it isn't that code that you posted as yourself.

this is the only project named GLaDOS that is about an OS on github unless you have a link to one i am unaware of

did not know that but it is not the same code boot it using QEMU 4.2.0 and using the run.bat or look at the vid

one more thing you cant even download that OS and the one i made is not FreeDOS based the one you linked is
