I said stay away from Logitech. They are just bad. The MH752's are a definite upgrade from the cloud 2's.

I mainly play fps shooter games these days. Valorant to be specific + Some office meetings.

Need a good pair of headphones that can serve both purpose well.

I have curated a list of these headphones. Unable to decide which should I choose.

Though my budget is not limited but I am not willing to overspend without a reason. I am thinking of going with

Razer Kraken X
Corsair HS60 PRO
Razer BlackShark V2 X

but not sure of pros and cons. I will appreciate the help of this community very well.

None of these. Razer has a horrible sound profile across the board and overblown surround and Corsair headsets are not that reliable. From this list my +1 vote would be:

1. HyperX Cloud (I prefer the 2, but all of them are basically the same imho)

2. ATH-M50x and get yourself an external mic or use your phone mic hooked to your computer

3. Cooler Master MH752 (super dark horse pick, never actually used it myself but its really good i hear)

ATH-M50x

I would never recommend these for anything outside studio use. They sound horrible for listening and gaming etc. The soundstage is super claustrophobic and the sound is not nice at all for anything, based off of listening to a friend's pair and other reviews.

I would seriously recommend the MH752's since the mic is actually good enough to not annoy people if you don't already have a USB or XLR mic. The reason why the MH752's is a popular recc here is because they sound great for the price and offering a good mic for a headset and the comfort is great too. I would say they are the best headphones at the price range and even higher compared to many gaming headsets even in the 150-200 dollar range.

Stay away from all of these brands. Including Logitech and Steelseries. They are just plain awful for the price and the marketing gimmick they use is comical.

For pure gaming out of these the ad 700 x is the best wide soundstage decent imaging good airy highs for footsteps. Mic wise the modmic would be a decent pick. If you need a good comfortable closed back the mh752 would be my pick out of the list . The MH 752 is one of the best values here decent mic decent gaming performance for under a $100. The g433 is a weird pick for me I generally never recommend it but having tried it recently it's actually pretty good and a safe recommendation positional audio is pretty good, mids are surprisingly decent for a gaming headset overall tuning is pretty good for gaming  it a bad pick but I'm not sure how they are long term. Overall the best thing on the list imo is the 700x

Comfort-wise I definitely prefer Razer over Corsair.
I can wear the Razers for days although they look kinda stupid on your head because of the amount of cushion.

The Razer app suite is also just a bit better than Corsairs in my opinion.

I've never liked any of the Logitech ones so far.

In general, it's best to buy from companies who specialize in the particular market you're looking in. Logitech/Corsair/Razer/CoolerMaster are all focused on one market- computers and gaming, and while they can make headphones, they probably won't sound as good as something from a company like Sennheiser, AKG, Audio Technica, Beyerdynamic, Grado, etc. What do all those companies have in common? They've been in the audio industry for decades. With the exception of Grado, all the companies I listed have also made microphones for decades. If you're a really great engineer who really knows acoustics, you're going to be taking a job with one of those companies.

Occasionally one of the gaming companies gets something sort of right (sounds like maybe the MH752 is an example of this, though I haven't heard them), usually by contracting with a company that knows what they're doing. Usually though, they just make a whole bunch of really mediocre (but very expensive) headphones with even more pathetic microphones.

mh752 are based on the takstar pro82 if I remember correctly ... and I think there's one hyper X headset (maybe the cloud 2 ?) that is based on the takstar pro80 ... not a lot of companies does that yeah and it would be nice to see more of them do so.  Also sennheiser makes headset ... the microphones is quite nice on them ...

Indeed the do. But the sound is very enclosed and sounds very artificial if that is how I can describe them. The GSP models are very bad imho. The GSP 600's are super uncomfortable, heavy and the sound is tinny and up close and personal. The price doesn't justify what you get. Just get a pair of headphones with a mic. The "gaming" aspect doesn't make anything better. There are other gaming models from sennheiser as well that probably sound great although never tried.

I have the gsp 300 which is quite cheap (100$ cad), the microphone is great (better than the neewer nw-7000 I had), they are comfortable (more so than my x2hr imo), they are good with glasses, they have huge amount of passive sound insulation ... as for the sound they sound, kinda neutral but can produce bass when needed.  The highs are good and precise, the bass can be a bit muddy when in excess ... they are not as tight as the x2hr of course.  The worst part is that they sound really really closed ...  and talking with them is quite unpleasant.

All in all of course the x2hr are better ... but I would not bet on anything gaming branded being that much better than the gsp300 except maybe the mh752 ...

That's the general thing I heard about the higher priced sennheiser headset ... but for 100$ I'm pretty sure that the gsp300 are worth it.

The microphone better be nice in them, since a huge portion of Sennheiser is also one of the biggest microphone manufacturers in the world.

I recommend the Hyper X Cloud 2s or Alphas.  Both are brilliant headsets for gaming just like most of the others Kraken makes. I believe it's Kraken. Might be mistaken to though but yeah as far as sound quality goes, as well as durability; what youre getting for what they cost is IMHO pretty rare. I've been through countless headsets for various reasons and whenever something goes wrong I always have my Cloud Alphas to fall back on. Had them for so long and they have never failed me one time.
