New case fan makes this weird noise, is it normal?

is it on a PWM header that you manage?

If it is, try turning up the speed a little bit.

I finally got a new case fan (only had 1 stock fan from my case before). It makes this weird noise and I can't find out what causes it (it doesn't hit any cable or whatever). Is this sound normal? I usually wear headphones, so I don't hear it, but still would like to know if this is bad or not.

The fan is a 140mm Be Quiet! Pure Wings 2 PWM (1600 rpm version).

It's connected to Chas_Fan3 on the motherboard (ASRock B460M Pro4). If I turn up the speed I don't hear the weird noise anymore, sounds more like a normal fan. Does that mean it's fine?

yup, that can happen if fans are run a bit low, no big deal.

Alright, thanks 😄
