Does Windows Update Still Work for Windows 7?

Hello

I was wondering if Windows Update would still work on Windows 7 .

I get an erro wenn trying to update.

Yes, all previous patches and updates before Microsoft stopped supporting it should work.

IDK i have to look first.BTW i have the same problem whit windows server 2008 R2

All updates prior to January 14th 2020 should work. 

 

What error are you getting? If it's pretty far out of date you might need to install the SHA-2 signing update first.

Same thing with 2008 R2. Up to 14th Jan 2020 should work and you need the SHA-2 signing update.

Must download and install the prerequisites listed on that page first.

the windows version i tryd to update is most probebly corrupt. https://linustechtips.com/topic/1324435-my-windows-is-broken/
