a good music player?

i want a good .mp3; .flac player

i'm not looking for an online feature full software

but i want to play the music locally with preserved quality (ie, if you compare vlc and windows media player)

i'm currently using windows media player to play my music, but is it the best?

I use Foobar, you can change pretty much anything you want, it works with many different file types, and it's a lot less clunkier than something like iTunes. I have the WASAPI plugin and lossless files sound great.

Again foobar, it just works for everything and is very customizable.

 

Plays basically any music format I've tried, and open instantly and can start playing immediately too.

Its a bit weird at the start as you have to set the layout up, so I'll link the TekSyndicate video on setup that is in everyone of these threads.

Once you get it customized to how you like it, Foobar 2000 is pretty amazing. You'll most likely need to follow a guide (I used Tek Syndicate's I think) however, as it can be a bit confusing at times, it is definitely worth it though.
