If you have a iGPU in that computer and don't have any plans on gaming anymore, then I would sell the graphics card and make a profit on it now.

what CPU you got? Or do you have a cheap graphics card like a GT 610 lying around?

I would mostly agree with this, but also add that maybe try being a decent human being and not selling it for a 200% profit. But that's just me.

I would sell. It gets someone a GPU who wants to game and can't fine one, your not wasting electricity on mining, and it's probably gonna take a lot longer for it to turn to ewaste. You might make more money in the long term (like 6-10 months depending on your electricity cost) but it also relies on a very volatile market.

If you're not using it, might as well sell it for whatever you can get. Just keep in mind that if/when you want a card to replace it with, those are going to be very expensive for, imo, at least the next 2 years or so, new or used. Just food for thought. I'm sitting on a GTX 960 for that exact reason: if something happens to my 1070, I don't want to be stuck gaming on a DDR3-variant GT 730 or the i7-8086K iGPU.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Probably sell it. If you stil really want some crypto, buy some directly with your profits.

What rx590 is going for $750?  None I see are going for that, so what am I missing?

Sell it and get a cheap card just to have a display output in case your processor doesn't have integrated graphics.

While true, due to the current market situation of high demand and low supply, now is the time to sell if you are not utilizing something you already purchased. It's a dick move I get it (I never did this to anyone, nor sold a graphics card used but did attempt a couple years ago when there wasn't a cryptocurrency boom). Personally, I would sell my RTX 2080 for like ~$600 and move back onto my GTX 1070 that is stored away in its box, mainly as a backup.
