I do have my processor and gpu overclocked

Remove all overclocks for a while and see if the crash/freezing goes away.

Just because your overclocks was stable, doesn't mean it is now.

I have been having problems with my pc freezing and crashing. the only new part is a rtx 3070 but it bought it like 4 to 6 months and have not had any problems. I feel like is the problem is a evga 750w p2 I believe, I do have my processor and gpu overclocked but again I have not had any problems until recently if you have any questions or thoughts feel free to message back.

You could also try to up the voltage on your OC's a bit and see if you'll regain stability this way. Of course you have to have the thermal headroom for that.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

I have played around with my 8700K aswell, both overclocks and undervolts, and my 8700K is so unstable. I really can't do much with it. When I first got it, running MCE 4.7GHz all day, no problems what so ever, but after 6 months, it all went downhill, and today I have it undervolted and capped at 4.3GHz all core, while having liquid metal and custom copper IHS on, to keeps temps under control.

I have two mates, Martin and Simon, who also have a 8700K.

Martins 8700K unstable af and only really runs normally with everything stock / auto.

Simons 8700K have been running since day 1 with ASUS inbuilt 5GHz overclock and it still runs, with peaks in the mid 70s under heavy load and after many hours of game time. < this is most likely a golden chip / silicon lottery

What I'm saying is that, after what I have experienced, most 8700K kinda suck, so don't be too annoyed if your 8700K runs poorly. 😊

There was a  is a windows update coming soon released today, which is meant to fix fps/crashing issues that some people are seeing.

If you haven't already, download/install the update and see if it helps.

However, if this fix hasn't been released yet, the fix appears to be uninstalling the update that caused the issue.

Windows 10 KB5001330 issues: FPS drop, system crashes (windowslatest.com)

PSU Tier List   AMD Motherboard Tier List   SSD Tier List

If your issue is resolved, please share the fix with the community.
