7th gen is the last gen on their motherboard type. Gens 8 and 9 were on a different chipset.

If you're using all of your RAM and have extra slots, this could be an easy cheap upgrade. You could also make sure they are running in dual channel and not single.

Normally this would be what you would go for to upgrade, but GPUs are terribly hard to get right now.

Are you able to upload a picture of the motherboard? I want to see if it's made to ATX standard or some Acer special design.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

I should also note the cpu fan does make alot of noise even when nothings being done but thats random, as you can see its quiet clean so its not dust atleast i dont think, I live in Australia so everything is expensive infact i looked up one of the PCs Linus built and we dont even get those parts anyway if i can upgrade it even just abit of a boost that would be nice, specially for games like Cities Skylines which surprisingly run iffy while other games like Cyberpunk runs fantastic how odd, what do you think?
