Looking for a new Storage Server

I am looking for a storage server with about at least 10 TB of storage (preferably SSD or SAS HDD). Unfortunately I can not find anything good. Tips?

 

I still have an old server motherboard, CPUs and power supply there, but unfortunately no case. 

 

It should be deliverable to Switzerland.

I don't mind if I have to build the server myself. However, I prefer off-the-shelf solutions. 

 

Budget about 300 CHF = 325 $

 

HP, DELL, Netapp, Nimble. 

 

I must be able to install a 10 Gbit card. ISCSI should also be available.

Is you server motherboard standard ATX?
If so just get a case with a few drive slots and make yourself a server with trueNAS (formerly known as freeNAS)

Nope its E-ATX

 

2 CPU Sockets

 

I need like 12 3.5" bays or like 24 2.5" bays. I already have some disks laying around..

for that kind of budget, Id either go for a used server like a HP proliant  or a dell poweredge

Yes I know. But I cant find good Servers....

dell r510? has pcie for 10gb nic and 12 3.5" bays you can get them online used for quite cheap

go on ebay and look for dell r510. Also look up simmilar models from other brands like the dl 180 g6 from hpe.
