  1. I wouldn't need much capacity so that's not a problem. It is being kept in a separate room so Should that deal with the noise? Power consumption is not a problem
  2. It is only being used for a bit of archival storage and a way to share files across machines. so I would think that this task would not be too demanding

  4. Hello I am hoping to buy a server to serve as a nas for £80 or under (not including drives and other stuff) I have looked at the dell r610 with 2 intel xeon L5520's and 16gb of ram What are peoples thoughts as I have seen these used in quite a few home labs
