Best replacement for NZXT Kraken X62

m.a.d.m.a.x

After all the problems with the CAM software and NZXT's incompetence in fixing a severe bug that is around since August 2020, I finally have enough and would like to change my cooling solution.

Currently, my Ryzen 2700x runs at 65°C max (when using Cinebench). I would like to not worsen these numbers.

I also want to buy a 5800x or 5900x in the near future, so that should be no problem either.

Will a 240mm AIO be too small for these CPUs? Thats the only one I could mount in the top of my case (Bequiet 500dx).

The X62 is a 280mm AIO i run in the front.

If possible, I would like to go Corsair, so that I only have to use one RGB/Fan control program but I read, that the pump of the elite line is really noisy.

I also thought about going custom liquid cooling, but I think that would be quite expensive, high effort and there is not that much space in my case.

And no, I don't want to buy an aircooler.

You could always go with the Liquid Freezer 2 from Arctic and put on some Corsair RGB Fans like the ML120s/140s or even LL120/140s so its all in the same eco system.

But I would have to control pump speeds with a second software then right?
One software for all would be the best for me I guess. After all the hassle with CAM I am afraid to again use something different to ICUE.

A RGB CPU-block/Pump would be nice too.

Depends. If its a 4 pin fan header and you had a commander pro, you could run it off the commander pro and use iCue. if not, just plug it directly into your motherboard and set a fan curve in the BIOS and never touch it again unless you reset or update your BIOS, then you would have to set it back up.
