Planning a new build for myself.

Go to solution Solved by Anonymous_Yee,

@Brok3n But who cares? Hey so I just watched some videos and guides for this case.

I think this is what my finalized setup is going to be:

CPU: 10700k

GPU:  3060, 3060 ti, 3070. It's all about time rn.

Motherboard: Same thing as before Asus Z490-I Motherboard

RAM: I'm pretty sure that 3600mhz ram can't be supported with the motherboard or 10700k (this is just my information that I know abt. So still going with the Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB.

Storage: For now just 1 TB SSD

Case: You already know it. Ssupd Meshlicious

Cooling: Might as well go H100i Elite Capellix

PSU: I might go for a 750-850 W psu. Idk yet.

I think that's it. But thx for helping me.

I will later on buy the peripherals, but until I am actually allowed to do build this computer, I'm not gonna bother abt the monitors and other things.

Because, others, like me, are interested in this case and have done builds, or plan to do with them.

Guess you weren't very interested in learning the context of the situation. OP said his environment was between 40-50 degrees Fahrenheit. By itself, a 240mm with a 5600x is ridiculous if you don't plan on seriously overclocking, let alone with ambient temperatures of that sort. Even in Normal temperatures, The FE is unlikely to throttle or be impacted performance-wise in any way. It seems that you suggest purchasing far more expensive cards because... well, honestly I have no idea where that came from. Like I said, Dunno where you get those half-baked ideas.

So is an air cooler with 53 or 73mm height limits depending on the GPU thickness.

So. No. It's. Not.

Seeing that the stock cooler works perfectly fine for the 5600x in a case with meh airflow in a 70f environment, I'd say It'd be perfectly fine in a 40-50f environment in a high-airflow case. Like mentioned previously, seems like you're not intent on seeing the context whatsoever.

You still have no idea about this case do you?

Gee, I dunno. Like I said. I own the case, I've watched many videos.

Alright then, I'll bite. Putting aside that there's a gap between the GPU and motherboard, one side of the case is totally mesh for the gpu to intake air, and there's mesh everywhere including on the sides of the case for the gpu to exhaust hot air, Let's make this less theoretical. How are the temps on your gpu? Feel free to send specs of your system, pictures of your case/build, and of course, the results. Love to see how your experience is, if you want you can also find some youtube videos in case that I missed them showing how a 3070 would throttle in the meshlicious, regardless of environment

You reckon his room inside is really 40-50?

Really?

All year round?

Ever?

Take a look here, at 3:54. RTX 3080 which is more heavily reliant on flow-through than the 3070, doing just fine. Room ambient is around 68f, and even though there's an AIO, OP's room temperatures should more than entirely offset the higher temps. Even if OP has far higher room temps, it doesn't matter. Hotter GPU, design more reliant on flow-through, It's doing... Just. Fine. RTX 3080 FE vs ITX – Round 2! - YouTube

Oh and by the way...  Almost exactly like the 3070,

He doesn't reccomend it in multiple videos. I know. I've watched them all.

So thanks for proving my point. Extra noise extra heat.

Honestly, Don't know what you're going on about, also don't understand why you're avoiding my points.

That's all you've ever done.

He knows more about ITX cases then you ever will.

He reccomends a 280mm with exhaust fans. He recommended a traditional GPU.

He's also in Australia, like me.

You reccomend a stock cooler and a FE and a PSU limitation that had nothing to do with reality.

I know who I'll listen to.

Atleast your sig is accurate.

Oh, my sig is for people that don't really know what they're doing.
