Yeah, you could get a much better price to performance air cooler such as the  Be quiet dark rock 4 and a case with better airflow.

Agreed, although I’d just get a Scythe Fuma 2 instead.

if ur just making a gaming computer then the GPU seems like it would outpace the CPU by a bunch. I'm running a R1600 with a 1660 super and they complement eachother perfectly. But comparing my CPU to yours, and my GPU to yours, your GPU would be way better relative to mine, than the CPU would be relative to mine.

idk either cheaper gpu or better cpu or smthin

Yeah, the Fuma 2 would also be a great option. Better performance. I think the Dark rock 4 looks better but I would actually go with the fuma 2 as well.

also seems ridiculous to pay twice as much for a CPU that is only ~20% better (relative to the 1600)

I actually disagree. The 3060 TI is extremely comparable to the RTX 2080 Super, and would be a great pairing with a 3700X

This is not true at all. The 3700X and 3060Ti is a great combo, at all basic resolutions.

Also please do not use userbenchmark. Their scoring are completely biased towards and Intel and NVIDIA, and their scoring in general is just garbage.

Yeah, don’t go with NZXT. Overpriced, and bad balancing of the parts overall

Tend to agree. They're prices are absurd, its like they take the price of a component and add a 30% markup along with the "build fee"

The dark rock pro 4 is better but isn't great. Thermal performance is meh, value is just ok. I'd just get a sycthe Fuma 2 or a Mugen 5. Also, on a 3700x you'd just want to go stock usually.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.
