Need help designing first gaming pc for daughter.

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Hitman, Skyrim, Rocket league, and can’t forget minecraft.  She also wants to do streaming.  

Other details:  I have a lot of knowledge of computers up till probably 8 years ago. Technology certainly has changed since my last bought computer. Not afraid of doing a custom computer build with my daughter. (She wants to learn everything about it, she is 16). I am stuck with selecting AMD or Intel and all the different types of boards.  
Things I am looking at is wifi 6, fast Ethernet, up to 64 gig ram, she wants to go with an all white design, rgb doesn’t matter, she picked a fractal design meshify case,  she also may go with green accents, like all the cables.  Not sure what else to say here, but any help will be great.

Why do you need 64GB Ram that seems extreme for a gaming machine? Also given the GPU shortage it would seem unlikely you will be able to complete this build for anywhere near $CAN 2000 (The GPU alone would likely cost that). If you absolutely need a machine this year you will probably have to buy from a SI so you wont be able to configure it exactly.

Why do you need 64 gigs for minecraft and rocket league lol. Also, good luck finding a decent GPU in that budget right now

This is a basic system without a gpu. It uses the stock Intel cooler, which should be fine initially. There are decent white fan air coolers. Problem is finding stock. PCPartPicker does not always show local stock or pricing.

 

At the moment you will be lucky to find a GTX 3060 Ti for the ~1,000 left in the budget.

I'd get something like this if I were you. No GPU for obvious reasons LoL but would get a solid motherboard from the get-go so that when GPU prices go down, you can sell your APU and upgrade to a nice Ryzen 7 or even 9 CPU and dedicated GPU. Do not get a A320 type mobo, they might not be able handle a powerful CPU. You shouldn't need a CPU cooler as you get one with the APU. You can get one later on for the higher end CPU. You could get 32gb of RAM instead of 16, but unsure if it will be necessary. You can always add another 16 later on.

and this is a modified version of it. But u mit need to update the bios for the cpu because the cpu ain’t Compatible with the chip set in the motherboard but some versions of the bios are compatible with the cpu I don’t know much about the issue.

Lots of good suggestions above for parts. I'd highly suggest you take a look at Kijiji and see what's available there. There's still going to be some markup, but it isn't close to as bad as places like ebay. I got a 3070 for <1000$ CAD back in January off there.

your first goal is to get a gpu and then think about the pc.

 

In terms of the budget, I dont think you should invest that much. Wiser choice will be going for a good cpu+ram+mobo and getting mid-tear graphics card like the RTX2060, GTX1660 super, RX5600, and upgrading it in the future when needed. 

I think that's the optimal way to go because of two reasons:

1.she doesn't need all that power to run some pretty basic games probably on 1080\1440p.

2. upgrading in the future will keep this pc operating for the long run very well. 

 

Could go for a cheaper (but quality) case and save 50 bucks, but if she wants the meshify c why not?
