Does 1440p Make a Difference in Minecraft without a texture pack?

King of Memes

Heres what im saying. Minecraft has low resolution textures 16x. So, would 1440p actually make a difference? Or should i just get a 1080p monitor? Im not planning on using shaders or a texture pack.

my signiture was cool, but its a lie now

You won't get any extra fidelity, but you can fit more on the screen if you adjust FOV accordingly.
