Unable to set power limit on Z490 Aorus Elite AC

Big NOPE. Stability is my highest priority, performance balanced with efficiency is 2nd. Lowering voltage is generally out of bounds in that respect.

 

I found a better solution. Get a different mobo. I now have an Asus B560M-A for under 24 hours. Initial impressions are positive but it is still early. It does boost differently, running AVX-512 at 4.2 GHz, and it has an option to set Intel suggested operating PL1, PL2 values. Still exploring its behaviour now.

Understood.  In my case the Gigabyte motherboard was pumping too much voltage.  I simply took back control, then went for lowest stable value.  Cheers.
