Inexperienced builder checking for sanity

build:

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Waffle_Loard/saved/fp6N6h

Hello I am a relatively inexperienced builder and would like a second opinion on this build before risking it and purchasing all the parts.

I have an SSD on hand already that will be used, I didn't include it in the part list because I did not want to accidentally purchase another.

Its a solid enough build, you could possibly find a slightly cheaper b450m motherboard, as there's no real benefit for you to buy a b550 chipset on Zen 2

That's not a bad build that you have so far. I was going to say you'll need a GPU to even use the computer as there is no iGPU on the 3700X, only Ryzen processors that have a suffix of G, such as the 3200G.

If you want you could use 3600MHz RAM.

Budget, currency, what are you going to use it for? It's not bad per se, but I wouldn't quite call it good.

this is a pc for low price mid range gaming, the cpu was originally going to be a ryzen 5 but I managed to get a good deal on the ryzen 7 instead, I have an older gpu that I'm going to use to at least get the pc running until I can find a decent price on a newer one

That mobo isn't recommendable, if you are going into cheapo not interested in OC, go with a520M Aorus Elite, will do the job, after that if you wanna search for a good b450 depends on pricing maybe Steel Legends, or going with b550m Pro4 or b550m Bazooka, those will handle 3700X without any trouble.
Besides that... SSD Less build? Isn't exactly the best option, any decent one will be a experience changer.
And that Case it's just a mess with thermals, maybe phanteks P300A for a better option on the same price bracket.

Switched to a

MSI B450M BAZOOKA MAX WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard

and also I mentioned earlier that I have an SSD its not just in the parts list.

Added 2 case fans to subsidize the case thermals (I like the case a lot and it fits where I need it to)

What are you doing with it. If gaming, get a 256 GB ssd for operating system. A hard drive is a reasonably good storage device if it isn't bogged down by the CPU.
