PS4 BLOD with the startup beep.

I got a PS4 as a “gift” from a friend. They did tell me it has a BLOD issue. I’m not even sure if this qualifies as the BLOD but it shows the blue lights and beeps when the power button is pressed. After that, when the power button is pressed again, it just beeps and shows no lights whatsoever. I’m lost.

Possible power supply failure. 
get yourself a torx set and take the covers off

find a video on how to replace the psu. 
 

Your need a psu with the matching model / part number.  Itl be on the psu.  Take care dismantling as you can rip cables
