Dell. I've loved most of my laptops that I had from Dell. Latitude C400, D600, D630, and my current E6500 plus a couple others I never really used/use and my Inspiron 3000 and 3500 that I had several years ago. I really like my E6500 and I want to get a D430 sometime. (D430 is basically a netbook version of the D630 I had.)

My second favorite would be.. Uh.. I dunno. I find that most newer laptops aren't that great at all apart from the Latitudes I've had. I had a few Toshibas, but they were like Windows 95 old. And I only liked one of them. (Toshiba Satellite Pro. Fairly fast, decent battery, etc. I played a ton of Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 on this thing.) My mom had a newer Satellite Pro with Vista. Absolutely awful. Her current HP TouchSmart really isn't good either. (Worst part? It was $600 used.)

My dad had some old Inspiron a long time ago, (Possibly a 3500 like mine?) a D600, and a E6500. Same laptops as me, which makes sense since a lot of my laptops come out of a tech recycling bin at his work. Now he has a desktop. (I think he has some AMD card and 2 or 3 screens.)

It seems a lot of the Dell haters haven't used the laptop's I've used. I haven't really used any other Dell laptops though..

I've been using mine for almost a year now, so yeah... I'll just wait and see.

Did you at least get rid of all of the bloatware?

I found some stuff on my laptop that was not only unnecessary, but also would never have the opportunity to be used. Ex: HP Delay Start and TV tuner driver.

HP included the driver for a FUCKING TV TUNER on my laptop.

Mine would have to be Medion (a German brand that sell in Europe)
But only because I currently own a Medion notebook.

Yup, that's a necessity for me. Bloatware flips my shit.

Can't vote because I have no laptop answer. All laptops are rubbish.

Tablet: apple, amazon (dat kindle paperwhite yo)

phone: apple, obviously

its not obvious that the iphone is the best, the iphone is in my top 5 phones for other people, but not in my personal top 10. I may sound like an android fanboy, but im really not. i like windows phone, but I need a big screen and customization.

You shouldn't dictate your purchasing decisions by brands. That said, LG, HTC, Motorola, Samsung, Nokia, and yes, even Apple, all make great flagship smartphones. They even occasionally make other phones that don't suck*.

* = The iPhone 5C does not count.

Notebooks:

Apple, Asus and Lenovo are my favourite brands. Apple, because of their build quality and their forward thinking (thinking about the rumored fanless Macbook Air) and the others for their reputation and the fact that I prefer using Windows 7 over OSX, which - IMO - got a bit too cluttered over the years. Also, Apple notebooks aren't actually as overpriced as many like to claim.

Tablets:

Apple. Because of build quality, battery life, 4:3 aspect ratio, multi touch gestures and the slightly more optimized apps. The only things I don't like are that there is no proper official file manager and no micro SD card slot.

Phones:

Apple, Motorola and LG. At the moment. If I could justify spending money on a new phone, then I would get a black Moto X, but I keep telling myself to wait for the next one. I like the direction that LG is going but I'm not sure, if I will pick up one of their phones.

However, I'm still using my HTC Desire HD. I've had it for more than 3 years now and really like way it looks and feels in the hand. Afterall, it had an aluminium body more than 2 years before the HTC ONE was released and everone suddenly acted as if it was a first. Problem is that HTC really dropped the ball when they denied us an official update to 4.0 and that the battery life is abysmal. That's why I would never buy a HTC with a built in battery. They just don't get it.

Never been a huge fan of Samsung. Even more than 10 years ago, long before all that smartphone fanboyism became a thing. They used to be known for selling premature hardware and letting their customers do the quality control themselfes.

Mine would have to be Medion (a German brand that sell in Europe)
But only because I currently own a Medion notebook.

They often re-brand stuff. The Medion Akoya Mini comes to mind, which was a re-branded MSI Wind.

I don't really play many games for gameplay anymore honestly. I play most games just for the graphics.
