PC build recommendation for around $1350

Phantom1234

Help me out with some build recommendations please

Budget (including currency): ~$1350

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly esports titles (CSGO and LoL) and some new single player games. Will be used as a workbench too

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I am upgrading from my old PC, I recently bought a MSI EVOKE radeon rx5700 OC so I won't need to buy a new GPU. All other parts will be need upgrades so it's technically a completely new build. I will need a monitor and a keyboard in this build too

Not really. The non XT version rarely comes up when you search for it. You can try checking it out on newegg

This is what I was thinking, the case is a personal choice I personally like the p400a, the monitor equally, it depends what size you like. At the moment intel and amd have similar prices, so its equally your choice there, and I could not see the 5600x available and that is why I have not gone for it.

Also in your budget you could afford an AIO, personally I just prefer air cooling.

Thanks a lot for this. It looks great. my budget allows me to move around a bit more so maybe I can consider adding more memory or just upgrading to a 1440p monitor. My current build has an i5-7600k and it bottlenecks the GPU. Do you think this build will be able to run newer games for a few more years? I also prefer to stick to air cooling because setting up AIO is difficult and I don't think my PC will need it. I also want to know what would you recommend between a razer blackwindow elite and an apex 7 keyboard

This is a nice CPU boost from the 7600 and should not bottleneck a 5700, 8 cores is more than the new common which is 6 cores and the 3700 is a great CPU, however if you were willing to wait Intel are coming out with there next lot soon and the 5000 series must come down in price at some point so if yours is working it may be worth waiting and seeing what happens., monitor wise, I find going to 1440 can be expensive if you want to go for 144Hz, and keyboard I honestly don't know, I normally run much more budget options.

Sounds great. I will be building this PC in about 6-7 months so there's still quite a bit of time left. The prices will definitely be lower and I'll keep an eye out for newer parts. Thanks again 🙂
