970 is dying. Does anyone have opinions in the GT 1030?

Can't really spend more than $100 and just looking for something to support my 21:9 monitor. From what I can tell the integrated graphics (intel 4600) on the 4790k cpu can't support my 21:9 (2560x1080) monitor over hdmi (I've tried it and it only displays on my second 1080p monitor) So I just need the bare bones to power my monitor.

Get a GT710, it can support that resolution @60hz.

nah, this card is actually useless, it struggles to play video in 2021, and is an absolute piece of garbage. I have one sitting on my shelf, I would know.

Fuuuucckk, saw 970s actually being sold at $250 on ebay. Not asking price, but actual price someone paid for one. Was pissed when my 970 died in 2019 but thank fucking god it didn't happen now.

The monitor is a cheap LG 25 inch ultrawide with only 2 hdmi ports and motherboard came out in 2014 so it only has an hdmi dvi and vga
