Antec Signature / Corsair RMx / Seasonic PRIME Gold ?

What is the price difference between the three PSUs?

Why do you need 1000W?

How many and what GPUs are you planning to run? With a 1000W, you are looking at like 3 (or 4) GPUs worth.

If you are going to futureproof, 850W is typically plenty.

The Signature maybe 20-30$ more than RMx...

Focus Plus is not recommend?

I think to prefer the 1000w because of mining.. maybe 2x 3080 or 3080 + 3060Ti

You will need more than a 1,000W PSU if that is what you are planning.

Either of the three PSUs, including the SeaSonic Focus Plus is fine.

The Antec is a SeaSonic Platinum design, while the SeaSonic Prime GOld is a...well...SeaSonic Gold design.

The Corsiar RMx is a CWT Gold design.

Are the prices in USD, CAD, Euro?

I don't know what country you're in....

1000W is barely enough with good headroom for one 3080/3090 depending on the actual card.

2x 3080's, well you will find out the hard way depending on what you get.

With 2x 3080's the transient power spikes will be basically double the PSUs max output at 976W PER CARD.

You might be able to get by with a 1400W PSU depending on the actual unit.

Any of the SeaSonic Focus Plus that you buy now SHOULD be the updated version.

What is the particular model number of the SeaSonic Focus Plus are you looking at?

E.g. GX-850, GM-850, GX-1000, etc.

SSR-1000FX

And what you think about HCG from Antec? I see some told it was based on the seasonic focus so maybe have the ripple problem..

Do not buy FX. FX is Focus Plus Gold. Seasonic RIP Focus Plus Gold because of issues and introduced GX/PX after that.

I understand...

It is strange for me because the HCG for example is good PSU in many of reviews and recommendations. (and in PSUs Tier List)

I can mining with 3080 and undervolt it to 240W or something.. some people doing that..

So RMx? in my country I see it have 5yr warranty only.

Are you sure?

Corsair RM / RMx PSUs before 2019 is 5-years, but 2019+ is 10-years.

Can you share a link where you are seeing 5-years?

Are you sure?

Corsair RM / RMx PSUs before 2019 is 5-years, but 2019+ is 10-years.

Can you share a link where you are seeing 5-years?

Yeah in my country... but the language is not english so...

Right now I am in dilemma - Be Quiet Straight power 11, Seasonic PRIME GX-850, RMx, HX series.

I know they maybe not 1000w here.. but which better you think? Prices are relatively close..

I see some have better fan.. and some have passive silent mode.. so which is better? or get the cheaper?

How did you manage to post an image just below and still get it wrong? There is nothing in that image that states RMx <2019 is 5 years, only that RM is.

Hence the RM  RMx

He is saying the RMx in is only being offered a 5-year warranty.

I am not sure if the retailer in ISREAL made a mistake, or Corsair PSUs being sold in ISREAL have a different warranty policy compared to US / CANADA.

(E.g. copy-paste the warranty information of the pre-2019 Corsair RM PSUs, and didn't check it over before publishing)

Maybe here they sell the older versions?

Be Quiet Straight power 11, Seasonic PRIME GX-850, RMx, RMi

What is your choice?

What you think about SSR-1000GD model?

Or RM1000i (digital psu)

I see the RM1000i from Corsair and that is a digital PSU.

I am in dilemma if choose that or Seasonic PRIME Gold / Antec Signature but they not have this feature.

All the models here cost same price.

I think this feature is some cool because you can monitor your PSU and controlling the speed of the fan.

For mining and gaming right now.

It's cool sure, not very useful iirc. You don't need it and I wouldn't consider it worth buying.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.
