Editing long reply to a status update in custom feed

wall03

Browser, version and OS: Microsoft Edge Dev, Version 90.0.789.1. Windows 10 Release Preview latest build

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

I was scrolling down a custom feed of people's status updates. I accidentally posted an image on a reply I didn't want (I posted it before). I did not press the Expand button on my post. I pressed the Edit button.

What happened?

The edit thing wouldn't show everything, including the entire image.

What did you expect to happen?

The edit thing would show my entire post, without being in a container, showing the entire image and allowing me to delete the file I uploaded.

A similar thing happens on mobile if you try to edit a post in a status update that is too long. For whatever reason you can't scroll down while in a SU, so if the text box is too long there's no way to get to the "submit reply" box.

I mostly speak from my own past experience from similar problems. My solution may not work for you, but I'll always try my best to help as much as I can. If you want me to see your reply, make sure to quote my comment or mention me @WaggishOhio383, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

This should normally work if you expand the reply first, and should always work if you open the expanded status view (eg by clicking on the timestamp on the status, or showing all replies), but it will be fixed in the next update.
