Ram is ram. Brand does not really matter. Get whichever is cheapest or looks best to you.

ADATA if I recall correctly has some SUPER low-profile RAM, like, about as high as the slot's RAM-holder-down-thingies.

Then yes, Corsair Vengeance LP RAM is best.

Look at those below.

 

- Corsair vengeance LP

- G.skill Ares

- G.skill sniper

- Kingston hyperX blue/black/red/silver

- cruscial balistick sports.

 

It just depending on which cpu cooler you have.

Patriot viper is low profile memory as well as the others mentioned in here.

Can anyone find me 16gb of low profile ram @1600 MHz ?? for 150$ or less

 

http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/memory/#s=301600&Z=16384002&sort=a10&t=11 and then pick one using list below. Many of those are under $150. If you are unsure if ram you select is "low", compare pics of ones listed and ram you pick.
