Gaming Computer Hardware performance issues.

Good Afternoon Online World loll I am playing a lot of FPS games atm and I seem to have incredibly low framerates and massive lag issues on my new build. I am getting in some cases 10 frames per second. I thought at first it was my internet but my speeds are Download 922.1mbs and 915.4 upload with a latency of 3ms. Then I though was my specs on computer but I feel I am more than average when it comes to hardware. Any suggestions would be great as I am not sure what to do.

 

Here are my specs 

Connected to router Netgear night hawk ac1900 via 10 ft cat 6 cable

Motherboard Aorus B550 AC PRO

Processor 3600 Ryzen 5

2x8 gb 3600 DDR4 TridentZ - (adding 2 more sticks of 2x8 next week hopefully that will help)

Samsung Evo 500gb SSD

2 SATA 1tb drives

XFX 5700 XT GPU

Corsair  h100i cooling with 5 case fans total including the 2 for the radiator

are the temp fine like gpu or cpu temp

Probably something overheating, like the CPU, or background tasks? 

 

Try a reformat?

Whats the best way to monitor overheating ? I am not overclocking just running base. ) back ground tasks are running just the game I am playing. When you say reformat what do you mean. Like the hard drive or the whole computer ?

Tried to install the game on a SSD?

Tried DDU to to remove all drivers and install a known good driver?

Tried fresh install of Windows? OwO

Does it do the same thing in benchmarks such as unigine?

Tried performance mode in Windows?

Set make sure fan cruve is more agressive for CPU and GPU?

Use MSI Afterburner, install the Riva Tuner statistics, open up a game, turn on the overlay

 

And for the reformat, yes. Backup your C:\ drive, make a windows bootable disk, reformat, reinstall windows. It doesn't take that long, especially since you're on Fiber, you can probably do the whole thing in about an hour.

On the extreme setting on unigine I get 100 percent usage running at 75-85C

I will try this. Never done this so Ill look up a video on performance mode.

Well yea you’re always supposed to have 100% usage. That’s the point of the gpu. I mean the FPS issue you stated.
