Posted February 10, 2021 I have a Asus Strix 1080 oc version. My problem is the GC stops working under load. I can hear a high pich oscillation whining sound (not loud). Please help. Posted February 10, 2021 Wait - I have a 1080? On a more serious note, see that part on the PCB that looks like a dent on the backside of the card? Something probably fried. I know it got hot ther is also some small discoloration ont the ram heat spreder. I'm thinkinh that some of the caps are bad or the chokes are bad. I need a second opinion.
