Cell Phone video recording and audio

Current phone being used to record: Pixel 4

 

The image is great, really a nice video capable phone for the price @ 4k 30.  

 

Audio pickup isnt terrible for what it is, but need to know if there is a solution available for a microphone (or two) with a cell phone used to record on a gimbal?  Exact use cases are:

 

1.) Walking trade shows, discussion with manufacturers and vendors, in a crowded place with lots of background noise.  As is, the phone picks up decent but any distance over 6ft, or the people talking get quiet you cannot hear.  

2.) Private Gun Range - just need to be able to be away from the camera and still do audio captured on the same file

 

Is there something you guys know of, recommend?  This is for video documentary.  Cordless would be the bees knees.

Last question - there is a budget, but not determined yet, if a setup is suggested that would provide:

 

Gimbal/tripod/mounting stuff (not as important)

Video Recorder @ 4k 30 (sell me other resolutions and refreshes!) (important)

Audio setup (important)

you can add a small 3.5mm shogun mic, the V-Mic D4 DUO would do decent but your going to need a different cable for phones
the other option is a shogun on top while you have a lav.

as for wireless nothing cheap is good.
