I would be cautious.. could have had some malicious software installed from that website.. I would go offline and run full system scans with anything you go... I wouldn't trust it for a second.

They're using whoisguard to hide any normal info you'd get from a whois search, and you'd have to be extremely dense to fall for this painfully obvious scam lmao

Probably someone got your info or something.

In November, I got a random friend request from someone called ThatGuyThomas.

I tried to DM him, but I couldn't. So I denied it and went on my way.

Bots join public servers and scour the net looking for servers to join and then randomly DM members of that server with BS like this all the time.

You weren't 'chosen', the same message was probably sent to thousands or tens of thousands of other people. It's like spam emails from the International African Commission of Lottery Wealth and Income Equality telling you that you've won the lottery in Nairobi but you need to send $100 USD to secure the funds release. No one picked you, everyone got the same email.

I am getting message like redeem your 250.000 (yes, thousand) BTC today. That's a SCAM. Even 0.5 BTC, no one would give a stranger like 18.000.- US at the moment. If someone asks for money upfront on a payout later, that person will scam you.

That's 100% a scam. Legit sites don't just randomly message people, telling them they're getting free money. You should be ashamed for even having to ask.

You weren't chosen specifically. It's a scam.
