Asus ROG Strix 3080 vs 1080 Ti size comparison

Hi!

I've decided to share a size comparison between the Strix variants of the 3080 and the 1080Ti since I was really blown away when I was able to actually get a grasp on the 3080. It looks big even inside my case, which I thought remarkable due its size, the C700P is quite big.

The official dimensions from the Asus website are:

3080

  • 12.53 " x 5.51 " x 2.27 " Inch
  • 31.85  x 14.01  x 5.78  Centimeter

1080 Ti

  • 11.73 " x 5.28 " x 2.07 " Inch
  • 29.8 x 13.4 x 5.25 Centimeter

The 3080 Strix is indeed quite a big card. Also, not on topic, but I am glad to see another fellow forum member who also has a Cosmos case. 🙂

I wonder if this will become a trend from the NVidia side, like the cooler getting bigger in incremental steps...I mean what to expect of the 4000 series?
