Embedded twitter links do not display properly.

Go to solution Solved by lewdicrous,

You have to disable tracking in your browser's privacy settings.

Browser, version and OS:

Firefox 85.0 (64bit)/ Windows 10 Pro

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

Just load in any LTT page with a embedded twitter link on it.

What happened?

Any embedded twitter link does not display properly, trying to click a link makes the embedded post disappear, however if I middle click the link it takes me to the correct twitter page and the post remains in the post too.

What did you expect to happen?

The embedded twitter link to display and work properly

Screenshots of the issue, if applicable:

Any other relevant details:

Tried a different forum theme and also private mode and neither changed anything about the issue.

I see you're using a test post as an example, so of course I can't open that page, but this page also has a Twitter embed:

https://linustechtips.com/topic/1299566-gamerify-your-furniture-ikea-and-asus-collaboration/

and using Firefox 85.0 (no extensions) on Windows 10 Home seems to work fine for me.

Oh yeah nvm turns out twitter is really keen on tracking data, kind of forgot the warning that it could 'impact the functionality of some sites' since it never really affected me until now.
