Same performace when plugged into motherboard vs GPU

lttuser7

So I found this a bit strange. I get the same performance, actually a little better when I'm plugged into my motherboard compared to my graphics card?

I'm wondering if this is a thing or what is going on if not. I'm just running Cyberpunk but am getting a little better FPS and better color when running through the motherboard.

Got the 9900K from a friend for cheap.

Yeah and everything is working fine. But when I plug into the motherboard I"m getting like 50fps on medium settings on cyberpunk. So I think the GPU is working which seems weird.

What software is giving you this problem? Are the drivers correctly installed? You might wanna try running a benchmark like unigene superposition to see how things are performing. Also check your temps whilst running the benchmark.

And on the integrated you also get that performance?

I've just checked running games and looking at FPS. Games run a little better and the color is even better.

You might be having a passthrough happen with the igpu. Again use a benchmark with hard numbers and open msi afterburner to see which gpu is working when the games are open.
