What do I need to make my own cables mod?

Hello,

 

I have a very specific cable I want to make, because I can't find it. I want to make a kf2510 4-pins female to standard 4-pin PWM female for a 12v computer fan

 

What thickness wire do I need? What AWG? solid core or braided?

 

Are the pins Dupont? And I'll need a regular Dupont crimp tool?

 

Anything else?
