5800X versus 5900X in FS2020

Does anybody have links to videos on the benchmarks? Like I said in one of my other posts, I saw people with 9700Ks getting all-core usage in FS2020 while rendering some scenes.

You should not be playing FS2020 while rendering anything  Its already a pretty hard to run.

 

5900x May run a few FPS better, but id expect pretty close results honestly.

What GPU do you want to pair the 5800X or 5900X with? What resolution and fps do you want to play at?

1080p, 120-144. Likely not possible, but it should pull off 60-75 at least. 6800 XT or 3090 FE, maybe 3080 FE. should i get the EVGA blower 30 series?

Get any RTX 3080, since its half the price of the RTX 3090 you can use the savings to upgrade to the RTX 4080 next year and get better performance than the RTX 3090.

Here is a FS2020 comparison using RTX 3080 of the 5800X versus the 5900X, the 5800X is only 2fps slower, its at 1:45.

I'd go for 3080 over 3090.

 

CPU I'd probably go for 5900X. Maybe not worth it in FS2020, but it's more future proof with 12 cores.

What about the 3080 Ti?

Also, I totally agree with you on the CPU part, and if anyone knows, please tell me what the problem is with future-proofing.
