Hi there,

I'm planning on buying a set of Airpods 2nd generation to use with my Macbook, but I wanted to clear out some questions before buying them:

  1. Can I pair the Airpods with an Android device and use it to answer calls and listen to like a normal bluetooth setup?

  2. Can I customize the single tap and double tap commands of the Airpods from the Mac?

  3. Can I customize the commands independently for the left and right Airpods from the Mac?

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks in advance!

Airpods are meant to be used with an iPhone as primary and that's where you configure everything from. You can pair with other devices to but no configuration, firmware updates etc.
