My Thinkpad E14 is stuck in a loop(?)

My Thinkpad E14 suddenly shutdown and now is stuck in some sort of loop.
The backlit keyboard keeps on turning on and off.
If I try to hold down the power button, to force shutdown, it doesn't do anything.
Its been at least 1 hr now.
