Which cpu I should choose with 3060ti. moreover, which psu should i buy

Hi, i am so confused which cpu i should go for to pair it with 3060ti

In my country amd cpus is so expensive that ryzen 5 3600 is 230$ and 5600x is so expensive as 355$

So i am really not thinking of ryzen right now

While i5 10400F is 168$ and i5 10600K is 260$.

My usage is for gaming and i will not overclock my cpu

In case of i5 10600k i have to buy a cpu cooler and a z series board and a high frequency memory

While in i5 10400F i will just pair it with a b460 and a ddr4-2666 and the stock cooler is more than enough and that it.

For instance, i5 10400f , msi b460m mortar , 2x 8gb ddr4-2666 module

Total is 360$ but some said that it will make a bottleneck with rtx3060ti at 1080p high refresh rate

While if i go for i5 10600k , asrock z490 steel legend , 2x 8gb ddr4-3200 module , budget cpu cooler like coolermaster hyper 212 black edition

Total is 620$

If i go for ryzen 5 3600 , b450 carbon max , 2x8gb ddr4-3200 memory module

Total is 460$

That's all for cpus sorry for long post

As for PSUs which one should i go for from those with respect of which bundle i will buy and it's power consumption

1. Seasonic S12III-650 - 650W 80Plus Bronze Non-Modular for 88$

2. XPG PYLON 650W 80 PLUS BRONZE CERTIFIED 120MM FLUID DYNAMIC BEARING FAN POWER SUPPLY for 88$

3. Corsair CV650 — 650 Watt 80 Plus® Bronze for 68$

4. Seasonic Core Gold GC-650 650W 80Plus Gold Non-Modular for 103$

10400f on stock cooler is pretty darn toasty so a simple cooler like a hyper 212 is still very recommended. The 10400f on a b460 can only go to 2666mhz speed of ram due to the b460 so no point in getting faster ram.

What psu? Low end psu's should be avoid it's quality over anything else with a psu.

You don't "have to", you can use a K series processor on a B or H board, I know Riley did so in his PC, some don't need overclocking but the non-K (10600) has a lower base clock. And if you also don't have to buy high frequency memory, you can easily use a 3000Mhz or 3200Mhz (although B460 can do max 2666 iirc) if you want. However for the CPU Cooler, you do need it. Would I recommend going that route? Probably not, and for a 3060ti I think you should go 10400/10400F

I would say the best deal is the i5 10400f and seeing as you are buying midrange I don't see the reason to spend a ton more for the r5 3600 or the i5 10600k. Honestly amd is having stock issues so even though they have great cpus they are priced too high compared to Intel. I remember picking up the 3600 for 160 bucks for a friend about a year ago but now you can never find it for that price anymore.

Ya i know that if i choose b or h boards it will work but some say that 2666mhz bottlenecks cpus in games and lessens the performance of the cpu

The core gold is the least meh psu out of all so get that the s12III is not great and shouldn't be paired with a 3060ti but well the others are kinda terrible part from the seasonic core.

The 10400f is a bit slower than the 3600 setup you listed so up to you if you consider the 100$ difference worth.

I personally use a MSI Ventus 2x 3060ti in my PC, and I use an i5-10400, so i think a 10400F would be fine, as as for a PSU, I used a 650w Platinum by EVGA, though you can probably get by with a 80+ gold or 80+ bronze. And I personally would prefer modular PSUs, but whether you want it to be modular or not is your choice.

Gaming PC:

CPU- Intel Core i5-10400 (planning to upgrade when Alder Lake releases)

CPU Cooler- be quiet! Dark Rock Slim up to 180W TDP

Motherboard- Asus ROG Strix B460-h Gaming

Memory- Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4-3000 CL15 memory

Storage- Crucial P2 1TB M.2-NVME SSD up to 2400 MB/s

Video Card- MSI Ventus 2x Geforce RTX 3060 Ti OC

PC Chassis- Cooler Master TD500 MESH ARGB with Controller

Power Supply- EVGA 650w P2 (planning to upgrade to EVGA 80+ Gold 1k watts)

Rear Fan- Touchaqua Bitspower Notos RGB fan

Monitor- Acer EI272UR 2560x1440 144hz 4ms Radeon Freesync monitor

Keyboard- Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum

Mouse- Logitech G203 Lightsync (planning to upgrade to g502 HERO)

Controller- Xbox One Wireless Controller - Red

LaptopProcessor- Ryzen 7 4700U (8c/8t up to 4.1Ghz) with Radeon graphics, 16GB DDR4-3200 memory, 512 NVME SSD
