Which motherboard?

Which CPU?

All cables connected to the 2060? (Power cables and display cable(s))?

do you have the box that contains the motherboard and the gpu,

do you have the order confirmation from your purchase? that should include what manufacturer made what parts.

Use DDU, check the "Uninstall and turn off (recommended for changing GPU)", uninstall your GT710, put your RTX 2060 in the upper PCIe 3.0 x16, plug it in propperly until the lock clicks, connect the PSU cables to the GPU, turn on the computer

And tell us if it's showing anything

Okay thanks

That's pretty old. There are a lot of issues with Sandy Bridge motherboards and new graphics cards. Update your BIOS to the latest version (has to be 2012 or newer usually).

It's an incompatibility between the UEFI ROM on the card and your legacy BIOS system.

DDU is useless if you can't even get to the BIOS. DDU only works for not getting a display when it loads Windows.

okay, can you look inside your case, and see if there is a company name slapped somewhere on the motherboard or the gpu.

maybe even a logo?

There's no logo on the front anywhere? Like Medion, Lenovo, Dell, HP?

Without access to an exact model number of the PC and the latest BIOS, there's nothing you can do to fix this, I'm afraid. Worst case scenario, the board might even have a whitelist for PCIe cards, which means cards not on that list will never work.

I'd sell the PC and get something custom built with a newer platform to put the 2060 in. The i5 is far too slow to max it out anyway. Even at 1440p.

If you're low on cash, a B75 or Z77 motherboard should also do. They're new enough to support UEFI and old enough to support the i5-2400.
