Acer Nitro VG240YSbmiipx - Is it good?

Lare111

I found that this monitor is only 159€ and it has 8bit IPS-panel, 165Hz Refresh Rate, Freesync and Vesa Mounts for my monitor stand. Has anyone tried this monitor? I play mostly single player games so it doesn't have to be the fastest one but good colors are important for me.

With Acer there's always a value model with almost same letters in name, like - VG240Ybmiix - that does cost around 160€ here also, but it's 75Hz version.

If' you're sure that the model is VG240YSbmiipx then I'd say its a bargain.

Yeah, I noticed that the 75Hz model is almost identical. But this is the 165Hz model. I just find it weird how it is so cheap.

My current monitor is Samsung C24FG73 but it has developed some dead pixels and I just can't ignore them. Also Freesync flicker is bad.

One to consider is also AOC 24G2U that is priced similarly. (175€ here) Up to you.

I actually recommended one for my friend and he bought it and loves it. However, it's now over 200€ and out of stock everywhere.
