I have the fractal ion+ 760w PSU. I am first time builder and want to make sure i got everything right. Its a non modular PSU. I need help figuring out which port the cpu cable goes into the PSU as its not labled on the PSU. I have attached the diagram provided in the manual. Heres a link to the manual if that helps.

wait what? First of all how do you have removeable cables on a non-modular psu?

Second of all, read the manual, see what goes where, I believe it's the atx 12v (right side 8 pins)

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

Any one of these five would be used for the CPU cable or GPU cable:

The PCIe refers to the PCIe power cables for your videocard and the ATX 12V refers to the CPU connector on the motherboard (EPS).

Usually the cables can only fit in one way (i.e. one side can only fit into your PSU, the other side only in them motherboard). Another way to recognize this, would be by seeing that the motherboard side of the CPU connector can split into two part (4+4).

P.S. this is a modular PSU.

Non-modular = all cables hard-wired into the PSU

Modular = all cables loose, so you can plug in what you need

Semi-modular = some cables hard-wired (usually the 24 pin and 8 pin EPS, which basically everyone needs).

Thanks for the quick response last question should i plug in the pci-e cable in the bottom row or in the top right corner next to where i would plug in the cpu cable?

It doesn't matter where you plug the CPU or GPU cables in.

I'd plug the cables in where it would be easiest to cable manage them.
