What GPU(s) to use with 6 4k displays?

Hi guys!

I'm considering replacing the videowall solution we have at work (it uses some shitty network based proprietary solution) with one GPU (or two) that supports 6 4k60 (30hz is acceptable) displays.

I'll be using it to monitor multiple browser based security cam streams (average of 127kbps per camera, but I can't extrapolate GPU resource consumption from this).

I've been looking to get two Quadros P620 mainly due to the low price (economy in Brazil is a joke right now), but one of the salesman told me it would not support SLI and wouldn't work for the 6 displays, even though I've found different information on other online forums.

Do any of you use 6 4k displays, or have any recomendations that you are sure that would work?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: displays must be connected via HDMI, as they have no DP input.

You can use two cards independently to drive more screens without SLI (which isn't even needed here).

What you propose should work fine.

Remember you can use DP adapters if you don't have enough HDMI outputs.

I'd get 2 GT 710 ASUS GeForce GT 710, GT710-4H-SL-2GD5, 2GB GDDR5, 4x HDMI

it has 4 hdmi ports ( only 1.4 but you said 4K 30Hz is also ok ) so you could still connect 2 additional monitors

in my country they cost about 60€ so 120€ for 2 cards

Does it matter if I go Nvidia or AMD?

I'm looking at the XFX Radeon RX 570 4GB. Not the cheapest, but it seems to get the job done. Any other recomendations?

I can only seem to find it with VGA + HDMI + DVI. Haven't found any with 4 HDMI.

they have different variants with different display connections.

It could be that the 4 HDMI variant is not availiable in your country.

just as a proof that this card exists: https://geizhals.de/asus-geforce-gt-710-90yv0e60-m0na00-a2286065.html?hloc=at&hloc=de

there used to be a version from an older AMD card that was called the eyefinity edition and it came with 6 DP outputs maybe you could find a used one of these as well.

if you are not doing anything 3D, almost any GPU with enough ports will do, I have 3 Monitors on my 1060
