Can anyone integrate AMD's VCE into OBS?

Hi Guys,

 

OBS is a streaming software which allows for both streaming and normal video recording. OBS is open source, and anyone can add features. 

 

Some people have added Nvidia NVEC encoding, and of course intel Quick sync, but that leaves us AMD guys still out there. 

 

Would anyone be interested in taking on the project of adding AMD's VCE encoding to OBS?

I think that is a bit much asking this on a hardware forum. I doubt much people have experience making stuff like that. You're far better off asking this on the OBS forums, where actual OBS developers will be.
