Thanks for reading all this by the way!

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

Hey should I get a gaming pc or a xbox series x/s??

First of all, this forum will be biased towards PC.

If you only have $500-600 then xbox.  If you want to play with other people at your home, then xbox.

If you solo game I'd say PC.  A decent gaming PC will be like $1000 for the tower, and $300 for semi-decent peripherals.  You can do it cheaper if you get creative though.  Rebuilds down the road are cheaper, as you don't need to replace everything at once, and some parts like case, psu, and monitor can last 2 builds.

I shouldve asked first ...what games do u want to play?  That's more important on PC than xbox.

Depends on budget and if you can even find an xbs. Don't forget, if you want the full xbs experience you need a good tv to go along with it. Granted the same argument could be made about finding newer graphics cards as well. So it just comes down to what do you want out of them? Xbox exclusives or play with other Xboxers? Or do you want to game and browse the web or be productive, making music or videos, ect.

Best of luck with whichever you decide on.
