55 fps in VR lock ?

Hi it's a bit weird I have this issue when I play recroom for example I constantly hit 55fps no matter the settings I settled on medium since low is even more laggy ?

 

Is this a hidden setting somewhere?

Or is this normal ?

 

Oh and my specs are:

Ryzen 7 3700x

RX 5700 XT

16gb 3200mhz

 

My headset is a Rift S
