I purchased a War thunder account off of someone to have fun with, but he said he did not have access to the email but it was fine until yesterday when I tried to login because I needed a code from the email (which I can't log into) and now i need to get in it but i can't. so i was wondering if you guys knew how i can get into it so i can get my account back.     (its is also a Hotmail account btw)

It's not your account and no, there is no way for you to get into that Hotmail-account, either.

Sounds like you paid a hacker for a stolen account for a free-to-play game. Sounds like the original owner managed to reclaim their account. It was never your account.

Depending on where you bought it, you might be able to get your money back.

But, yeah, don't buy accounts without the email and everything associated to it. Or more like, just don't buy accounts. Especially not for a free to play game.

welp looks like im f***ed but thanks anyways

In future never buy other people's accounts, for games or for anything. It's always either a scam or stolen (hacked) accounts.

War thunder is free to play anyway so I have no idea why you would even think of buying someone's account in the first place. Good news is if you liked the game you can just create your own account for free.

This is a very common scam and a smart one at that. It involves a decently far account that keeps getting sold to people but the owner "forgot" their access to the email thus they can't change the email.

So people foolish enough to believe that use the leveled up account and start adding things to it themselves until at a certain point the seller simply changes the password or locks you out in some way. Now they have their account back that is worth more and they can sell it again. Super old trick from way back in the day. That and if someone comes at support for hey this dude sold me their account they can just say no it was hacked and get off scot free.

Most new games have a threshold for how many times this can happen before a account is banned but still it's only profit for the seller especially in a f2p game

Past tier 3-4 it requires either an absurd amount of grinding or paying real money and slightly less grinding. I can see why someone might want to buy an acc even though I personally would never do it or recommend it.
